Terms of Service

WaveCoach.ai is an AI-powered surf coaching service that allows users to upload surfing videos and receive personalized analysis, feedback, coaching commentary, and performance insights.

The service may generate visual overlays, written feedback, structured analysis data, maneuver breakdowns, and audio coaching using text-to-speech technology.

WaveCoach.ai is an automated analysis tool. It is not a replacement for professional surf instruction, in-person coaching, safety supervision, medical advice, physical training advice, or personal judgment in the water.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use WaveCoach.ai.

By using the platform, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You have the legal right to use the service.
• Any video you upload belongs to you, or you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and process it.
• If another person appears in a video you upload, you have obtained any required consent from that person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts if we believe they are being used in violation of this age requirement.

Videos of Minors

If you upload a video that includes a person under the age of 18, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor, or that you have obtained all required permissions from the minor’s parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for ensuring that uploading and processing the video is lawful in your location.

WaveCoach.ai currently uses Google OAuth for account creation and login.

This means you may sign in using your Google account, and we may receive basic account information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile image, depending on your Google settings.

We do not receive or store your Google password.

You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. If your Google account is compromised, your WaveCoach.ai account may also be at risk.

If you believe your WaveCoach.ai account has been accessed without permission, please contact us at contact@wavecoach.ai.

You retain ownership of the original surfing videos and other content that you upload to WaveCoach.ai.

By uploading a video, you grant WaveCoach.ai a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, analyze, display, and generate outputs from that video solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, improving, securing, and supporting the service.

This includes using your uploaded video to:

• Analyze your surfing performance.
• Generate personalized AI coaching feedback.
• Create visual overlays, written analysis, structured logs, and audio coaching.
• Display the original video and generated results inside your account.
• Provide historical performance tracking.
• Provide technical support related to your analysis.

We do not use your uploaded videos for commercial advertising, resale, public promotion, or public sharing without your separate permission.

WaveCoach.ai may use uploaded videos, extracted frames, analysis results, metadata, and generated outputs to operate, maintain, improve, test, and develop the service, including improving surf analysis quality, coaching feedback, performance tracking, and future AI-assisted features.

We will not sell your uploaded videos, publicly share them, or use them in external marketing materials without your separate permission.

To provide the service, WaveCoach.ai may process uploaded videos, extracted frames, metadata, written prompts, analysis data, and generated outputs using third-party cloud infrastructure, storage providers, AI engine providers, text-to-speech providers, and other technical service providers.

These providers process content only as needed to operate the service, generate analysis, store data, provide infrastructure, improve reliability, or support security and maintenance.

By using WaveCoach.ai, you understand that your uploaded content and generated outputs may be processed by third-party technology providers as part of the service.

WaveCoach.ai is not responsible for interruptions, errors, delays, security incidents, inaccurate outputs, or other failures caused by third-party infrastructure or AI providers, except where required by law.

WaveCoach.ai may generate coaching commentary, visual overlays, audio narration, structured data, maneuver analysis, scores, labels, and other outputs based on your uploaded video.

You may use the generated outputs for your personal surfing development, including viewing, downloading, and sharing your own analyzed video for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You own your original uploaded video. However, WaveCoach.ai retains ownership of its platform, analysis system, coaching logic, templates, AI-generated structures, visual design, data models, and related intellectual property.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not resell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or use WaveCoach.ai-generated outputs as part of a competing product or service.

WaveCoach.ai may store your uploaded videos, generated coaching outputs, analysis results, structured JSON data, maneuver logs, performance history, account information, and related metadata in order to provide historical tracking and allow you to access your previous analyses.

Unless stated otherwise, your uploaded videos and generated analysis may be stored for as long as your account remains active, or until you delete the content, delete your account, or request deletion, subject to legal, technical, security, fraud prevention, backup, and operational requirements.

You may contact us at contact@wavecoach.ai to request deletion of your account or specific uploaded content.

After deletion, some data may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, audit records, payment records, security systems, or where we are legally required or permitted to retain it.

You agree not to upload any content that:

• You do not own or have permission to use.
• Violates another person’s privacy, publicity rights, copyright, image rights, or other legal rights.
• Contains illegal, harmful, abusive, misleading, or offensive material.
• Includes unnecessary sensitive personal information.
• Attempts to disrupt, overload, or misuse the service.

You are responsible for making sure that any people appearing in your uploaded videos have agreed to be recorded, uploaded, and processed where required by law.

We may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts if we believe these Terms have been violated.

WaveCoach.ai provides automated coaching feedback based on video analysis. The feedback may include comments about body position, timing, technique, movement, balance, maneuver execution, and wave-riding decisions.

AI-generated coaching may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or not suitable for your specific physical condition, skill level, surf environment, board type, wave conditions, or safety situation.

You understand and agree that:

• Surfing involves inherent risks.
• Ocean and wave pool conditions can be unpredictable.
• AI coaching is not professional medical, safety, physical, or in-person surf instruction.
• You are responsible for deciding whether and how to apply any feedback.
• You should not attempt maneuvers or technique changes that are beyond your ability or unsafe for the conditions.
• You should always follow local rules, lifeguard instructions, wave pool rules, and safe surfing practices.

You use WaveCoach.ai and any coaching feedback at your own risk.

WaveCoach.ai operates on a credit-based system. Users may purchase credits and use those credits to initiate video analysis requests.

By purchasing credits, you agree to pay the displayed price and any applicable taxes or fees.

A credit may be reserved or consumed when you initiate an analysis request, not necessarily when the final analysis is completed.

This is because processing may begin immediately and may involve cloud infrastructure, AI processing, storage, and other third-party costs.

Failed or Incomplete Analyses

If an analysis fails due to a technical issue on our side and no usable result is delivered, we may, at our discretion, restore the credit, provide a replacement analysis, or offer another reasonable remedy.

To request a review of a failed analysis, contact us at contact@wavecoach.ai and include the email associated with your account and details of the failed upload or analysis.

We are not required to restore credits where the failure was caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to unsupported files, poor video quality, interrupted uploads, user error, violation of these Terms, or third-party service interruptions.

Nothing in this section limits any refund or consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.

Refund Policy

Credits are digital service credits. Unless required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable.

We may offer refunds, credit adjustments, or replacement credits at our discretion in cases such as duplicate billing, technical failure, payment error, or other service-related issues. This does not create an obligation to provide refunds in every case.

Credits may have limitations, expiration dates, or usage rules, which will be shown on the platform where applicable.

We reserve the right to change credit pricing, packages, and usage rules at any time. Changes will not affect credits already purchased unless required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.

We may review internal processing records, error logs, upload status, and analysis status in order to determine whether a failed or incomplete analysis is eligible for credit restoration or another remedy.

We aim to keep WaveCoach.ai available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, infrastructure providers, AI providers, third-party service outages, or events outside our control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

You agree not to misuse WaveCoach.ai. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems without permission.
• Uploading malicious files or interfering with platform security.
• Using the service for unlawful purposes.
• Copying, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to extract the platform’s technology.
• Reselling or commercially exploiting the service without written permission.
• Using the platform in a way that harms other users, WaveCoach.ai, or third-party providers.
• Attempting to bypass payment, credits, usage limits, or technical restrictions.

WaveCoach.ai, including its platform, design, analysis system, coaching logic, software, workflows, prompts, templates, branding, text, graphics, generated coaching formats, and other materials, is owned by WaveCoach.ai or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform unless we give you written permission.

Your original uploaded videos remain yours, subject to the limited license described in these Terms.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms.
• You misuse the platform.
• Your payment is disputed, reversed, fraudulent, or unauthorized.
• We are required to do so by law.
• Your activity creates risk for WaveCoach.ai, other users, third-party providers, or the public.
• You attempt to bypass credits, security controls, or usage restrictions.

You may stop using the service at any time.

Account termination may result in loss of access to your account, uploaded videos, analysis history, generated outputs, and unused credits, unless otherwise required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WaveCoach.ai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, personal injury, performance loss, reputational harm, or damages resulting from your use of the service or reliance on AI coaching feedback.

WaveCoach.ai is not liable for inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or misleading AI-generated outputs, or for your interpretation or application of any coaching feedback.

WaveCoach.ai is not liable for failures, outages, errors, security incidents, data loss, or delays caused by third-party cloud providers, AI providers, payment processors, storage providers, text-to-speech providers, or other technical service providers, except where required by law.

WaveCoach.ai’s total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid to WaveCoach.ai in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

WaveCoach.ai is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• The analysis will be accurate, complete, or useful.
• The coaching feedback will improve your surfing.
• The service will meet your specific expectations.
• The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Uploaded videos or generated outputs will always remain available.

You are responsible for how you interpret and apply any feedback provided by the platform.

Your use of WaveCoach.ai is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information, uploaded videos, generated outputs, and account data.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data, the Privacy Policy will apply to that specific issue.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we may notify you through the platform, by email, or by updating the “Last updated” date above.

Your continued use of WaveCoach.ai after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, the courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to these Terms or the service.
